    Not all things in life are black & white, but this loaf is!

    The marbled rye is essentially a wholemeal rye loaf, packed with cooked rye berries. It is naturally moist and sweet, with hearthy and deep tones. It likes to be cut into thin slices and served with a bit (or a lot!) of butter! This loaf will stay fresh and moist for a week too! Give it a try, give it to a friend, show it off at your dinner tabe with friends! 

     

    This bread uses Portuguese Rye flour and grains, cultivated in the northern, cold, and harsh regions of Portugal and Carob flour, from the much warmer regions of the south.

     

     

    Wheat Free.

    This loaf can be a solution for those with sensitivity to wheat. Rye contains secalin, a gluten protein, so it is not gluten-free and should not be eaten by celiacs. However, its gluten levels are much lower than those in modern wheat, and secalin works in different ways, chemically and physically, from the gluten proteins of wheat. That is why most people can digest rye breads without any side effects.
